Work Package 5

Implementation of collaboration on current programmes
Organisation of ERA-NET ROAD

Content:

Work Package 5 (WP5) covers the first coordination activities to occur using the procedures developed in WP2. WP5 reviews information collected in WP4, identifies and agrees the areas from current programmes that are suitable for joint activity and agrees the partners which participate in the coordination. The model procedures then are used to implement the coordination.

Important elements of WP5 are the two trans-national fast track pilots. They are small with a limited number of partners and they will highlight problems encountered when procuring trans-national research. The fast track pilots feed into the identification of barriers, the development of procedures and their testing.

In addition, further opportunities for larger joint collaboration at the project or programme level with more partners will also be identified.
